My photographer and I pulled an all-nighter, getting to the last pizza place well after midnight just to start shooting it/interviewing people...then came back to the studio to write/edit/put this piece together, so when I was back at the station at 7a.m. to present the story for the morning news, I may have been a little sleepy. The teleprompter froze on live TV - and I was so tired that I actually forgot my friend's name because we were still so out of it! It was hilarious (at least to me)! But the poignant journalistic investigation was so informative, I was then nominated for my first Emmy Award. #sleepisoverrated
